Excellent product. I used to have rechargeable NiMH 9v (7.4v) batteries and in one use of the NiMH battery for a particular thing would get about two hours of runtime, one of these lithium 9v batteries lasts for around nineteen hours for the same use. I presume the NiMH must have been a bit worn by then, but even when new it would not have come close to the 9v battery. If you are going to use this for audio or radio devices, megaphones, pocket radios, etc., be sure to email Just Batteries to ask for the low-RF interference model, it has the same capacity and is the same price, but has a different voltage regulator PCB in it that does not cause interference. And a regulated 9v ensures no issues caused by the lower NiMH rechargeable "9v" batteries' voltage too. The only issue is the sudden stop, if it could be possible to make the voltage regulator drop the output for the last say five minutes or so of charge as an indicator of the low battery level that may be very useful, but having a vague knowledge of the circuit involved, may not be so easy.

Good product but slightly bigger than a normal one so buggered if I know how I’m getting it out of the battery slot again!

looked online for hours looking for 9V rechargeable batteries, no one locally sold them. The ones I did find wanted a ridiculous amount of money $35-$50 per battery. only ones that kept popping up were cheap overseas versions with a 2-month delivery time. no good. Finally found Just Batteries Australia (JBA). very good price < $20, delivery was reasonably quick and easy tracking provided. work and recharge well. very happy. Well done JBA.
